Hoosier Hills Results GVSU Big Meet Results

ALLENDALE, Mich. & BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Purdue Fort Wayne men's track and field team split to a pair of locations on Friday (Feb. 10). The Mastodons were in action at Grand Valley State's Big Meet and Indiana's Hoosier Hills.

In Michigan, Andrew Whitinger set a school record in the 5000 with a time of 14:41.37. This comes on the heels of the 3000 record he set last week. Nicholas Mills also ran the 5000, finishing in 14:51.31. Austin Hall (14:58.29) and Harrison Niswander (15:02.98) each set a PR in the event.

Kobe Milledge ran the 800 meters in 1:55.15 for PR. Jack Mills earned a PR in the 600 (1:29.24). In the 3000 meters, JT Hodges took 15^th (8:30.60) for a new personal best. Draven Thompson put together a time of 4:20.15 in the mile.

In Bloomington, Cain Hohne finished fifth in the high jump (1.96 meters). Colten Gasson set a personal best in the mile (4:22.65). Brevin Miller earned a PR in the shot put (14.67 meters). Weston Miser took fourth in the 800 meters (1:55.82).

On Saturday, Milledge will be in action in the 800 meters at GVSU. Nicholas Mills, Niswander, Thompson and Whitinger will run the mile. Hodges and Hall are entered into the 3000 meters.
