Nicholas Mills Sets School Record in the Mile

ALLENDALE, Mich. – Nicholas Mills set a new school record in the mile on Saturday (Feb. 11) at the Big Meet hosted by Grand Valley State University.
Mills ran the mile in 4:14.80 to finish fourth in the event. Draven Thompson (4:20.20), Andrew Whitinger (4:21.08) and Harrison Nisander (4:28.42) also ran the mile.
Austin Hall set a PR in the 3000 (8:34.96). JT Hodges finished the 3000 in 8:37.49.
Kobe Milledge took 10th in the 800 meters (1:55.98).
Saturday's competition was the final meet before the Horizon League Indoor Championships Feb. 25-26. The 'Dons are hosting the meet at the Lutheran Health Fieldhouse.
