DMR Takes Third During Day One of #HLTF Meet

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Purdue Fort Wayne men's track and field picked up multiple podium finishes on Saturday (Feb. 25) during the first day of the 2023 Horizon League Indoor Track & Field Championship.
The DMR team of Draven Thompson, Joe Cartwright, Colten Gasson and Harrison Niswander was just over a second off first place and ultimately finished third (10:18.78).
Cody Loshe finished sixth in the pole vault in his first league meet (4.46 meters). He wasn't the only field athlete on the podium on Saturday. Zyler Johnson was also sixth in the weight throw (16.31 meters).
Nicholas Mills earned a top eight finish in the 5000 meters, stopping the clock in 14:54.48 for seventh.
Kobe Milledge ran the 800 in 1:58.11 for fourth best of the day to move on to Sunday's finals.
In the 400 Braxton Trittipo ran a time of 49.95 to qualify for the finals.
The 'Dons are in third place with 14 points.
