Austin Hall Sets School Record at Miami

OXFORD, Ohio - Austin Hall set a school record in the 3000 meters for the Mastodon men's track and field program at the Blizzard Buster hosted by Miami (Ohio) on Friday.
Hall took seventh in the 3000 meters, stopping the clock in 8:46.93. Fellow freshman Harrison Niswander earned 10th (8:55.54) in the same event.
The 'Dons took the first two spots in the high jump as Cain Hohne and Lane Hawkins tied for first (1.85 meters). Cody Loshe won the pole vault (4.15 meters). Luke Beehler finished second in the long jump (6.58m).
Joe Cartwright (22.94) and John Jackman (22.95) went third and fourth in the 200 meters. Kobe Milledge earned fifth in the 400 meters (51.86). Weston Miser started the outdoor season with a sixth-place performance in the 800 meters (1:59.83). The 'Dons had a pair of top 10 performers in the 1500 meters. Nicholas Mills earned eighth (4:00.52) and Andrew Whitinger took 10th (4:01.42). Brevin Miller picked up seventh in the shot put (13.55m). Carter Lewis was eighth in the discus (41.30 meters).
At High Point University, Aaron Martin earned 11th in the javelin (51.95 meters). Asher Walden earned 14th in the men's hammer (48.51 meters).
High Point's meet will continue on Saturday.
