
Asher Walden Breaks Own School Record in the Hammer

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Asher Walden improved his own school record in the hammer throw on Friday (April 14) at Indiana State's Gibson Invitational for the Purdue Fort Wayne men's track and field program.
Walden took seventh in the hammer (55.54 meters), breaking the school record he set last week. Kai Auernheimer earned fifth in the javelin (50.65 meters).
Jacob Schatzle was 19th in the decathlon (4877 points). Brejion Peters took 21st (4581).
The full meet schedule of the Gibson Invitational will be held on Saturday (April 15).
