
Two School Records Fall on Saturday at GVSU Big Meet

ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Purdue Fort Wayne Women's Distance Medley Relay team set a new school record at the GVSU Big Meet on Saturday (Feb. 10).
Riley Tate, Marissa Van De Weg, Ava Genovese, and Madison King combined to finish the race in 11:47.05 and break the 2019 squad's record of 12:00.44.
Harrison Niswander set his second school record in as many days with his 800 meter time of 1:52.80. It's the new school record by nearly two seconds and the top time this season in the Horizon League.
Jarred Neff led two Mastodons in the 3000 meters. Neff finished 11th overall with his new personal best time of 8:32.29. Nathan Mills (4:42.14) finished 19th.
Purdue Fort Wayne travels to Youngstown for the Horizon League Indoor Championships Feb.24-25.
