‘Dons Fall at Missouri Valley Foe Murray State 5-2

MURRAY, Ky. - Justin Osterhouse knocked in two in Purdue Fort Wayne's 5-2 baseball loss at Murray State on Monday (Feb. 19) in non-league play.
Osterhouse used a two-run double in the second to put the 'Dons up 2-1. Camden Karczewski and Jacob Walker both scored on the hit. Murray State scored four times in the bottom of the inning to take a 5-2 lead, which would be the final. Dan Tauken knocked in two with a double in the second for the Racers.
Owen Willard threw 2.1 shutout innings in relief and Kevin Fee tossed a pair of scoreless innings.
Carter Sabol started on the mound and is 0-1 after allowing five runs in 3.2 innings. Allen Roulette tossed the final 5.1 innings, giving up one hit, to get the win.
Grant Thoroman had two walks for the 'Dons.
The 'Dons fall to 0-3. Murray State is 3-0. The 'Dons travel to Western Kentucky on Friday (Feb. 23) to start a four-game series against the Hilltoppers.
