Men Earn Three Event Titles at #HLTF Indoor Championships

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne men's track & field program, led by event champions Ezra Lewellen, Jonas Morris and the 4x400 meter relay team, took fourth at the 2025 Horizon League Indoor Track and Field Championships on Sunday (March 2).
Lewellen broke his own school record on his way to becoming back-to-back Horizon League Indoor 60 meter dash champion. The senior finished with a new personal-best time of 6.68.
Three Mastodons took the podium for the 400 meter dash. Jonas Morris completed the 400 meter dash in 48.74 to take first in the event. Noah Morris took fourth, joining his brother on the podium after his 49.69 time. Cainen Northing joined his teammates at the sixth spot (50.51).
The 4x400 meter relay squad of Lewellen, Northington, and the Morris brothers took a full second lead to finish the event, claiming the title of relay champion with the time of 3:21.49.
Noah Morris also earned the 200 meter dash runner-up, finishing in 21.99. Jonas Morris also took the podium on the event, placing seventh (24.78).
Freshman Logan Teichman placed third in shot put during his first league championship experience, throwing for 15.77 meters to take third. Brevin Miller threw a mark of 15.33 meters to take sixth.
Boden Genovese placed fifth in the mile after his time of 4:15.89. Nicholas Mills ran the event in 4:17.73, finishing eighth.
Michael Drohosky cleared a mark of 1.95 meters in the high jump to take seventh.
Austin Hall ran the 3000 meters in 8:36.14, finishing eighth.
Youngstown State won their 10th straight Horizon League Indoor Championships, with 227.5. Milwaukee (127) and Oakland (104) followed. The 'Dons finished with 95 points, in fourth.
