ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Purdue Fort Wayne men's track and field team finished competition at the WashU Distance Carnival Friday (March 28).
Jarred Neff and Harrison Niswander completed the 3000 meter steeplechase in back-to-back spots during the first day of the meet (March 27), Neff in 27th (9:37.08) and Niswander in (9:37.63). Neff's time is the quickest in the Horizon League, Niswander's time places third.
Austin Hall competed in the 10000 meters. Hall finished in 62nd after a time of 31:09.67.
Three 'Dons competed in the 5000 meters during day two of the meet (March 28). Nicholas Mills earned 82nd with 15:12.44. Nathan Mills placed 184th after completing the event in 15:55.39. Jackson Marshall ran a 16:37.62 for 283rd.
Purdue Fort Wayne will be competing in the Pacesetter Sports Invitational on Saturday (March 29). Ezra Lewellen, Noah Morris, Jaylin Springer, Darius Atkins, Jonas Morris, Troy Golden, Tyler Hess, Kobe Milledge, Joshua Roper, Colin Gasson, Nicholas Mills, Sam Dunnett, Ambrose English, Jack Mills, Colten Gasson, Andrew Arnos, Luca Merita, Michael Drohosky, Andrew Roman, Damien Keys, Logan Teichman, Brevin Miller, Josiah Bird, Hunter Crew, Denton Jacobs, Owen Kaufman and Alex Evans will be competing at the meet.
