'Dons Break School Record In 4x800 Meter Relay Victory at Indiana Wesleyan

MARION, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's track & field team capped off day one of the Little State Championships on Friday (April 11), hosted by Indiana Wesleyan, by breaking the 15-year-old 4x800 meter relay school record.
Ava Genovese, Haylee Hile, Riley Tate and Bella Hodges won the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 9:18.53, breaking the previous school record that was set in 2010.
Martia Williams jumped a personal-record mark of 10.59 meter in the triple jump. This leap puts her 10th in the Horizon League standings.
Emery Carrico threw 11.59 meters in the shot put at the meet.
