Mastodons Set Four Personal Records at Gibson Invitational

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne men's track and field program completed competition at Indiana State's Gibson Invitational on Saturday (April 19).
Brothers Jonas Morris and Noah Morris put on a good showing in the 400 meter dash. Jonas Morris finished in 48.21, the second-fastest mark in the Horizon League. Noah Morris ran a personal record time of 49.42, ranking fifth in the league.
Andrew Roman cleared a personal record pole vault mark of 4.75 meters, third best in the HL.
Freshman Ambrose English ran a personal record in the 400 meter hurdles. He completed the event in 56.97, sitting sixth in the Horizon League standings.
Troy Golden ran a personal record 2:04.98 in the 800 meters.
The Mastodons will travel to Louisville's Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational (April 25-26) and the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet (April 26).
