LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Purdue Fort Wayne men's track and field program completed day one of Louisville's Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational on Friday (April 25).
Brevin Miller threw a 52.92 meter javelin mark at the meet. The distance would be second in the Horizon League, but his throw last week holds first. Alex Evans threw 43.12 meters in the event.
Hunter Crew threw a mark of 50.43 meters. The toss would place second in the league, but he sits first. Owen Kaufman threw 45.74 meters at the meet.
Noah Morris ran a personal record 200 meter dash (21.37), finishing with the HL's third fastest time. Jonas Morris crossed the finish line in 21.79. His time would be sixth in the league, however he already holds the second fastest time.
Ambrose English ran a personal record 55.32 400 meter hurdles, the fourth quickest Horizon League time.
Andrew Roman cleared a 4.61 meter pole vault mark. The height would place sixth in league standings, his previous mark of 4.75 meters holds third. Cody Loshe's 4.46 meters is the HL's eighth best mark.
Michael Drohosky jumped a 1.85 meter high jump at Louisville.
Josiah Bird, English, Ezra Lewellen, Jonas Morris, Noah Morris and Cainen Northington will compete in day two (April 25).
Andrew Arnos, Darius Atkins, Caden Bird, Tyler Bowman, Sam Dunnett, Colin Gasson, Colten Gasson, Boden Genovese, Troy Golden, Austin Hall, Tyler Hess, Denton Jacobs, Zyler Johnson, Jackson Marshall, Kobe Milledge, Jack Mills, Nathan Mills, Nicholas Mills, Jarred Neff, Harrison Niswander, Joshua Roper and Jaylin Springer will also be competing at the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet (April 26).
