FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne track & field program will travel to both the Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational (April 25-26), hosted by Louisville, and the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet (April 26) on Friday and Saturday.

The Mastodons traveled to Indiana State's Gibson Invitational (April 17-19). Brevin Miller threw a personal-record javelin throw of 56.02 meters, the furthest mark in the Horizon League. Jonas Morris ran the league's second-fastest 400 meter dash, completing the event in 48.21. Josiah Bird broke his own discus throw school record with a 50.03 meter toss, sitting third in the HL. Andrew Roman cleared a personal record pole vault height of 4.75 meters for third in the league.
Last Time Out for the Women
The 'Dons took on the Gibson Invitational (April 17-19), hosted by Indiana State. The 4x100 relay squad of Jordan Yanders, Lillian Hurd, Aniya Young, Harmony Johnson broke their own school record after crossing the finish line in 46.29, the Horizon League's quickest time. Makenna Dommer and Ali Sparks threw personal-record discus marks. Dommer's 42.22 meter throw sits third in the league and Sparks' toss of 42.17 meters ranks fourth. Ellie Zagel completed the heptathlon with 4688, her personal record and fourth in the HL.
