Jordan Yanders Breaks School Record at Louisville

ALLENDALE, Mich. & LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's track & field team finished competition at Louisville's Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational and the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet on Saturday (April 26), highlighted by Jordan Yanders breaking the 100 meter hurdles school record.
The senior finished the 100 meter hurdles at Louisville in 13.48, the Horizon League's fastest time. Yanders' time currently sits 35th in the East Region.
Freshman Harmony Johnson and Aniya Young both ran personal record 100 meter dash times at the Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational. Johnson's time of 11.82 is second in the league.
Makenna Dommer threw a personal record mark of 42.34 meters at Louisville for fourth in the HL.
Haylee Hile completed the Horizon League's sixth-best 3000 meter steeplechase time at GVSU, finishing in 11:05.82. Both Kynzlei Bassett (11:38.90) and Amanda Williams (12:54.30) set personal records in the event.
Ava Genovese (4:35.63) and Faith Norris (4:50.56) ran personal records 1500 meters at the Extra Weekend Meet. Genovese's time sits sixth in the league.
Riley Tate led her Mastodon teammates in the 5000 meters at GVSU, crossing the finish line in 16:47.92 for sixth in the HL. Lydia Carrell ran a personal record 17:41.71 in the event.
Freshman Kaylee Rogaczewski tied her triple jump personal record at 11.73 meters for fifth in the Horizon League, just a spot behind her teammate Louiza Kruiswijk.
The Mastodons will travel to Youngstown for the 2025 Horizon League Outdoor Championships on May 9-11.
