WHAT 2 WATCH 4
Home court advantage is on the side of the Golden Eagles in this battle for a share of first place in The Summit League. The Mastodons are 0-3 all-time at the Mabee Center. IPFW will look to snap its current two-game losing skid. Senior forward Oleg Kovalov had a breakout game vs. #13 Purdue with a career-high 12 points (all on 3-pointers).
SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES
The Golden Eagles are led in scoring by junior forward Dominique Morrison (6-6/210/Kansas City, MO) who is averaging 16.9 points a game. Sophomore guard Warren Niles (6-4/175/Cincinnati, OH) is second on the team in scoring at 12.9 points a contest while sophomore forward Damen Bell-Holter
(6-9/245/Hydaburg, AK) rounds out the top-three scorers for the Golden Eagles at 12.2 ppg.
WHAT 2 WATCH 4
With the loss of explosive forward Michael Craion for the year (foot) Oral Roberts has turned to Damen Bell-Holter to pick up the slack and he has responded. ORU will have to fight the effects of fatigue and a possible holiday travel hangover. The Golden Eagles just returned from three-games at the Las Vegas Holiday Hoops Classic (going 1-2). Watch for ORU to go to Dominique Morrison early and often.
