FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The IPFW Mastodon baseball team will face the South Dakota State Jackrabbits in a four-game series this weekend that marks the beginning of Summit League play. Game one will be played on Friday, April 6 with first pitch slated for 3 p.m.

The Jackrabbits started the season 0-8 before picking up their first win of the season over Arkansas-Pine Bluff 11-0. SDSU also found success against Southern-Illinois-Edwardsville and Northern Colorado to notch their six wins.
The Jackrabbits have held the upper hand in the all-time series against IPFW. They hold a 20-4 advantage over the Mastodons since the first meeting back in 2006.
