Men’s Tennis Falls 5-2 vs. Detroit

Final Results
FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The IPFW men's tennis team lost to the Detroit Titans on Sunday afternoon by the final score of 5-2. Daniel Kang and Jonathan Raa each earned a win in singles competition for the Mastodons.
IPFW picked up a win in doubles play, but the point went to Detroit as they came out victorious in No. 1 and No. 3 Doubles. Martin Muadi and Connor Andrews won their match up in No. 2 Doubles over Pablo Nunez and Jay Joshi 8-6.
Kang defeated Mike Basha 6-3, 7-6 in No. 1 Singles and Raa came up with a 6-2, 6-2 win in No. 6 Singles.
Andres Cobos moved to No. 2 Singles on Sunday and took a 6-3, 6-0 loss while Andrews dropped to No. 3 Singles where he was defeated 6-1, 6-2. Rounding out the effort for IPFW was Joao Freitas in No. 4 Singles (6-3, 7-6) and Gerard Guell (6-4, 6-3).
