Men's Tennis Drops 4-1 Decision vs. SDSU

Final Results
MACOMB, Ill. -- The IPFW men's tennis team took a 4-1 loss on Saturday afternoon to the South Dakota State Jackrabbits. The Mastodons will end the regular season tomorrow with a match vs. Western Illinois.
South Dakota State earned the doubles point with wins in No. 1 and No. 3 Doubles. No. 2 Doubles was a battle between the team of Conner Andrews and Martin Muadi facing Moreira and Throp. The match ended unfinished at 7-7.
Gerard Guell won the first singles match of the day with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at the No. 6 spot, but the Jackrabbits earned the win by winning the next three matches. Boglic won at No. 1 Singles over Daniel Kang 6-4, 6-2 and Loewleg defeated Andrews 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 in No. 2. The final match of the afternoon was Pereira defeating Joao Freitas 6-0, 6-3.
