FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne women's soccer is set to face Ohio Valley foe Tennessee Tech on Sunday (Sept. 2) at the Hefner Soccer Complex field 2.

Scouting the Mastodons (1-3-1, 0-0-0 Summit League)
Purdue Fort Wayne will welcome Tennessee Tech for the first matchup in school history while holding a 1-3-1 record. The Mastodons topped Valparaiso 2-1 and tied Indiana State 0-0. The 'Dons are led by four different scorers with Kayla Wisniewski, Deanna Hecht, Kendall Quinn and Kailyn Wade. Haley Lydon and Lorah Pund have been splitting the duties in goal, Lydon earning the starting role.
Scouting the Golden Eagles (2-3-0, 0-0-0 Ohio Valley)
Tennessee Tech is one of just two Ohio Valley schools to face off against Purdue Fort Wayne this year, the other being Eastern Illinois. The Golden Eagles will come to the Summit City with a 2-3-0 record, coming off a 3-0 loss at Evansville. Four different Golden Eagles have scored so far this season, totaling four goals on the year. Kari Naerdemann has been the primary goalkeeper, totaling 431 minutes so far this season.

Senior Paityn Fleming holds the record for the fastest goal scored in a Mastodon uniform. She scored in 28 seconds after the opening kick against Denver on October 27, 2017. Fleming surpassed former teammate Gaby Romo for the fastest goal, who scored in 34 seconds against IUPUI in 2016.
