AS CRUCES, N.M. – The Purdue Fort Wayne baseball team and their offense averaging more than seven runs per game heads to New Mexico State for a non-league series this weekend.

Jack Lang is hitting .385 on the year. Stewart and Lang rank one and two in the league in hitting, respectively.
Scouting the Aggies (8-1): New Mexico State swept a four game series against Iona last week. Nick Gonzales hit .531 on the series with nine hits including three home runs and nine RBIs for the Aggies. The Aggies suffered their first loss this week in a non-league game against Arizona State. They fell to ths Sun Devils 6-5 in 10 innings.
Series History: New Mexico State leads the all-time series 4-0 with all four games coming in a series played in the Land of Enchantment in 2011.
