CARBONDALE, Ill. - On the second day of the Coach B Classic (Saturday, Feb. 29), Purdue Fort Wayne softball fell to Northern Kentucky 6-2 at the Charlotte West Stadium.

In the fifth, Purdue Fort Wayne got a trio on base as Abby Baez reached on a single through the right side, Brooke Imel reached on an error, and Mariah Grant singled up the third base line. The Norse outfield got them out of the jam, as the center fielder caught the inning-ending out.
