What to Watch For
In Purdue Fort Wayne's first year in the Horizon League, the Mastodons will be hosting the Horizon League Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Lutheran Health Fieldhouse. So far this season, Dona Fagnon has broken his own school record in the 60 meter hurdles. Originally, Fagnon set the record with a time of 8.67 at the Mastodon Invitational on January 23 in his collegiate debut. Less than a month later, Fagnon broke the record again at the second Mastodon Invitational with a time of 8.51. Freshman Madison King has been leading the way for the 'Dons in the 3000 meter run and the 5000 meter run. King recorded a personal-best time of 10:10.42 in the 3000 meter run at the Sycamore Team Challenge at Indiana State on January 29. At the Mastodon Invitational on February 12, King clocked in another personal-best time of 17:47.44 in the 5000 meter run.

The women's program was highlighted by five first place finishes and the men's had four. Fagnon reset his previous school record in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.51, placing first in the finals and was first in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.82. Luke Beehler jumped to first place with a mark of 6.62m in the long jump and Garrett Anglemeyer used a throw of 13.10m in the shot put to win the event.
