CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Brent Donaldson and Braxton Trittipo each ran a time of 23.57 in the 200 meters to earn the top two spots at the Illini Classic on Friday (Jan. 6) for the Purdue Fort Wayne men's track and field team.
Trittipo was first in the 400m (50.60). Troy Golden (50.81) was in second in the 400 meters.
Zyler Johnson used a throw of 16.66 meters in the weight throw to finish third. Cain Hohne picked up fourth in the high jump (1.95 meters). The 'Dons were also fourth in the shot put, with Carter Lewis recording a performance of 14.93 meters.
The 'Dons are back in action on Jan. 14 at Trine's Sean Brady Alumni Opener.
