Mastodons Divide and Conquer For 18 Personal Records

INDIANAPOLIS AND ANGOLA, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne men's track and field competed at both the Mrs. G Invitational (Feb. 7), hosted by Trine, and Fairgrounds Invitational (Feb. 8), setting
18 personal records between the meets.
Freshman Logan Teichman was the only 'Don to take first place at either meet. His personal record mark of 15.41 meters beat out all competitors at Trine.
Jonas Morris had the highest Mastodon finish at the Fairgrounds. The sophomore ran the 400 meter dash in 47.99 to take second.
Crown Point native Michael Drohosky leaped for 1.85 meters in Indy to take third.
Andrew Roman tied his personal record in pole vault in Indianapolis. The sophomore cleared a mark of 4.70 meters to place fourth at the meet.
Ohio native Owen Kaufman threw for 15.70 meters in the weight throw to finish fifth in the Fairgrounds Invitational.
Darius Atkins, Boden Genovese, Nathan Mills, Andrew Arnos, Tyler Godwin, Cainen Northington, Noah Morris, Ambrose English, Josh Roper, Seth Mills, Josiah Bird, Braxton Burress, Tyler Hess, Denton Jacobs and Tyler Bowman also set personal records at the meets.
The 'Dons travel to Allendale, Mich. for the Big Meet (Feb. 14), hosted by GVSU.
