Tennis Hosts Three Over Weekend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IPFW men's tennis team continues its lenghthy homestand, as the squad hosts three total matches, including two in league play, as the Mastodons look go continue its run of three wins in its last four matches.
CLOSING IN ON RECORDS
Earlier this season, senior Martin Muadi became the men's tennis program's career singles wins record holder, passing former teammate Daniel Kang. Since then, Andres Cobos has also topped the previous mark of 63. Muadi, with 67 career singles victories, is the program leader, while Cobos is two wins behind with 65. Cobos ia also on the verge of becoming the program's all-time wins leader (both singles and doubles), as his 125 career wins stand just two behind the current mark of 127, held by Kang. Muadi is also just five behind Cobos on the all-time list. Below are the three wins lists at IPFW.

Omaha comes into the Summit League weekend with a 3-17 overall record, having dropped its last 12 matches, winning a total of three individual matches during that stretch.
In singles the Mavericks have two individuals with a team-high four wins on the season, as Marko Minic is 4-11 and Colin Buckley 4-13. Buckley has played his entire season at No. 1 singles, while Minic has two wins at No. 3, one at No. 4, and one at No. 5.
In doubles the tandem of Buckley and Nathan Greteman is 4-12, all at No. 1 pairs, while Erik Anderson and Ignace Warson are 2-14, including a 2-11 mark at No. 2 doubles.

Denver comes into the weekend ranked 42nd in the country and with an overall 13-7 record, including a 6-5 record against nationally ranked teams. In conference play, the Pioneers are 3-0, having swept Western Illinois, Omaha, and South Dakota State at home.
Diogo Rocha, who is 14-3 on the season - 9-2 at No. 2 singles - comes into the weekend ranked 102nd in the country, while Henry Craig, who is 9-6 in singles during the spring at No. 1, is ranked 107th in the country.
Craig and Alex Gasson are ranked are ranked 30th in the country, and sport a spring record of 6-1, all at No. 1 pairs. The No. 2 team of Yannik James and Rocha are 11-3, as the Pioneers have used four different teams to combine for an 11-5 record at No. 3 doubles.

Matt Conrad is 9-6 to lead Rose-Hulman, including a 5-3 mark at No. 4 singles. Brandon Benedict is 6-3 at No. 1 singles for the Engineers, while Georges Adam is 6-2 at No. 2 singles.
Leading the Rose-Hulman doubles teams - which have a combined 22-10 record - is the tandem of Adam and Benedict, who are 5-2 at No. 1 pairs, The No. 3 pair of Joe Kendall and Erin Miller are 4-1 on the season, as Matt Conrad and Cam Metzger are 4-3 at No. 2 pairs.
